Interested in getting involved? Reach out and let’s talk!
There are different levels of commitment available to those who want to be involved with CCAP: Casual volunteers, affiliate volunteers, and members.
Casual volunteers includes anyone volunteering for CCAP’s aid programs of helping out with events. There is no expectation of consistency and any help at all is greatly appreciated.
Affiliate volunteers are different than casual volunteers volunteering for aid programs in that they will participate in committee meetings and vote on decisions relating to the projects they’re involved in. Affiliate volunteers differ from members because they are NOT required to pay dues, not required to go through the Beginner Education Program, and not required to attend general body meetings. But they will be more involved than casual volunteers.
CCAP Membership has the highest barrier of entry. To become a member, prospective candidates will need to participate as an affiliate volunteer first to demonstrate consistency. Then, the onboarding process will consist of an interview. Once admitted, members will undergo a Beginner Education Program and then become complete dues-paying members. As a member, you’ll play a active role in planning and executing initiatives. While there will be a significant time commitment and expectation of consistency, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Below are the committees you can be involved in as a member. As an affiliate volunteer, you can be involved with Aid, Education, Communications, or Agitation & Propaganda, but not Security or Operations.
Aid & Logistics | Agitation & Propaganda | Communications | Education & Internal Development | Operations | Security
While experience is always a plus, we welcome all any skill level.
